In this week's blog we focus on our very own superman, James Tucker. 🦸🏻♂️
James is co-founder of Cruz Creative Media, a marketing agency focused on delivering exceptional digital content to help tell your story to the world. With over 20 years experience in digital information technology and first-time entrepreneur, James co-founded Cruz Creative Media in 2019 along with Agata Pawlak.
"These two are a dynamic duo, truly talented, and down right fun to work with!" Lisa Danforth
A lover of the Adidas three stripes 👟, superstar DJ 🎧, and voiceover side-hustler 🎙, lets' find a little more about him.
1️⃣ Tell us a little about your role at Cruz Creative Media?
Swapping the fast paced life of London for all year round sunshine and a laidback lifestyle that the Canary Islands has to offer is an absolute dream come true. 🌴
Working remotley for clients based in the UK, Europe and USA has never been easier.
Right from the very heart of Santa Cruz de Tenerife 🌋, I look after the project management and content creation of our client accounts and the general running of the office.
If you have a problem, yo, I'll solve it. Check out our services while my DJ resolves it. 🎧

2️⃣ What’s an everyday ritual you have to do?
Coffee...coffee... start the working day! ☕️
3️⃣ How does a typical day start for you?
I usually arrive to the office (kitchen table) around 8:35 switch on the Mac book and go through my kanban board for the day on Notion and action what tasks need completing as well as going through my Slack messages with my colleagues.
...and of course there's always that 3rd cup of coffee over a Zoom meeting. ☕️

4️⃣ What do you miss about the UK?
The weather 😂, family 😭 and the famous Bury black pudding 🐷
5️⃣ Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I used to have my very own mobile DJ business when I was 18 years old to fund my college and university fees. It felt like a hobby more than a job, performing in bars, restuarants and wedding venues. Today, I'm still a bedroom DJ hobbyist. I still like to spin the vinyl records to the sounds of the 90's dance beat. Although these days it's more mp3's than vinyl. 😂
